House

Sniper orchids dot the outer pasture and blood-colored barbed wire fence, I'll tell her between the wish and waiting lies the unfolded arms of a briar patch and razors, the jackals and coyotes perform their nightly rituals, an elegant writing desk and night flowers in Christ's paradise, a baby blue sprinkle and burnt orange hue from the upstairs window, a polished veranda and estate, bone-white and mossy statues in the garden, the melancholy snow globe and busted glass, a cathedral of shouts and anger, turbulent and rabidness, explosions and blue blooms in a mirror, a violent snowdrop, red hemorrhaging water, a Rosebud in the bathtub, I am the only one who lives there.
