Dragons

We hold light for this day; we illuminate the dark, rain-slick caverns where the wolves stay. We pray for each day; we want destruction and chaos, our feast of languages, and the castles we navigate. We burn the banners and wax hot with your rage; we breathe fire, and we glow. Our scales are red and green and yellow; the elegance and choking smoke. We breathe in the flames and set everything alight. We watch the people turn to ash, crumble, and fall. We claw at the clouds; we want to kill it all; we want silence among the soft sun and the snowfall.
