Confraternity

Everyone wants war. Frozen bodies in the snow, the Bornless one howling in delight. It's like the ancient Greek quote from Pindar, something along the lines of saying that 'War is always sweet to the inexperienced '. The world won't stop until it gnashes its teeth for the last time, always chewing on the bones of others. Maybe it ends when some rogue nation nukes the sun or rips the neck out from whatever enemy it can find on another planet. Terraform Mars, make it an Amazon slave colony or a new rubbish dump, a place for creepy billionaires to park their Tesla spaceships.

Imagine animals being so callous and as cruel as humans, artistically cruel. A Grizzly bear thinks of little else other than food to survive, it doesn't want to torture or enslave, it lives where it lives, exists as it is. Spiders have no hearts, their world is their web. Humans think of what they can take, what they can destroy or rape. Cunning and calculating, and that's the world, a place of immense chaos and murder, injustice and wrong doing, the dragging jaws of violent idiots, the hordes of black demons shoving the elderly onto train tracks and laughing, the world as it is, a prison that sometimes I think God created when He was angry.
