Fox

I walk this smoky plateau like a fox. Smarter, faster, crafty, don't win with sheer brawn and brute force, not like a grizzly bear. I like to think. I like to calculate, I like to characterize things and put plans into motion, I study the falling leaves, it's chess. I navigate my world like a phantom, this forest is mine. I never boldly run into battle, make your enemy think you are far away when you are near, close- when you are far away. You know how to eat an elephant? One bite at a time. I'll attack you from every angle, wear you down, break your spirit and you'll lose. Losing is no option for me. I survive. I walk among the wolves and the "scary" predators, it's me they fear, little me and no one else. Bright orange and white, I stick out like a sun-shard in a rainstorm, it's fear, I'd be afraid also, I'll take your hens right in front of you, nip you, dance around like it's art and beauty, because it is.
